Our focus for the next couple of months is all about the Fruits of the Spirit! This week, we are focusing on LOVE! If we can learn to utilize a natural reflex to mimic those around us, and use it to love and serve the way that Jesus loved us... we can follow in His footsteps, which is what He wants for us... to love others because He FIRST loved us!

Sometimes the Bible can be complex, and hard to understand at first... but when the Bible is clear, and SIMPLE... it can be so easy to understand, but difficult to do. Today's passage reminds us that the ask is simple, while not always easy in practice... we are to do everything with love!

Our focus for the next couple of months is all about the Fruits of the Spirit! This week, we set up where we're going, by thinking about how what happens inside of us will show outside of us. This is what the Bible means by "fruit." When the Spirit is at work inside of us, you will know by how we act and speak... but when we're being motivated by the flesh, very different things will come out of our mouths and lives.

Our focus this week is all about how God wants us to TRUST HIM! The ultimate sign of trust, and belief in God's bigger plan, is when we - as his kids - can receive any circumstance in life as a gift from God. Either in blessing, or growth... nothing is wasted with God, as He will use even our deepest pain to build us up. We are built up in Truth, but also in how we're broken down and built back up in the character and strength He develops in us through hard times. Everything is useful, even when it hurts.

Our focus this week is all about how God wants us to TRUST HIM! Jesus reminded the disciples that He could be trusted... and that His Father could be trusted... and encouraged them to remember that while He left, that He'd be coming back and that He'd prepare a place for them, and also - for US. So He encourages us to take heart in the knowledge that just as He's come through in the past, when our days get dark and confusing - to remember that He said He'd come through again, and He will... so we can find comfort and trust in His promise, even as we wait.

Our focus this week is all about how God wants us to TRUST HIM! When we learn to keep our focus on God, and the fact that He is strong over all things, and that He has victory over every evil or sad thing... we can have perfect peace, as we trust Him with the days ahead. We can know that though we'll have trouble in the world, if we take heart that He's overcome the world - perfect peace is waiting all those who trust Him!

Our focus this week is all about how God wants us to TRUST HIM! One special way He gives us to trust Him, is to use what He's provided for us to be a blessing to others, and not to trust in all we have to bring us safety or security. By allowing us to steward His resources, we get to bless as we're blessed... but we also are reminded that the Church is meant to be that for us. We learn to trust God, because He provides to us and through us in a beautiful way through one another!

Our focus this week is all about how God wants us to TRUST HIM! How much trust we put in the one giving us directions, will largely determine how closely or seriously we follow them. God asks us to trust Him, wholeheartedly, so that we are actively seeking His voice, and moving in faith - even when He asks us to go in different directions than we might want to go... because we know we're moving straight towards His will, even the road is winding.

Our focus this week is all about how God wants us to KNOW HIM! Jesus prays to the Father, and tells Him how much He wants us to truly see Him... exactly how He is, in all His glory. He can't wait to see us, seeing Him... He's not interested in hiding out in plain sight, among the clouds, the waves or the mountains... He wants us to BOTH see each other, and to see the look of awe, and we finally see Him fully.

Our focus this week is all about how God wants us to KNOW HIM! But God doesn't just want us to know Him... He wants us to know that when we come to Him, He wants to give us rest. His desire is to take our burdens, and help carry the load. He wants to be there with us through our tough times. To lighten the load, but also to LIGHT-en the darkness with the light of hope.
